Protecting Cardholder Data: Small Steps to Big Gains Webcast

Your Transactions & Our Gateway Equal Security

Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards

Protecting Your Customer's Cardholder Data

Visa, MasterCard and other Payment Brands have unique data security programs that require merchants to safeguard credit card processing data. These companies have adopted common industry security requirements referred to as the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI DSS).

Customers and businesses using electronic forms of payment expect their cardholder data to be stored securely and privately. Chase Paymentech, in partnership with the Payment Brands, data security firms and card issuers, helps to educate merchants about data security and the mandatory industry requirements around the protection of data throughout the payment transaction process.
